I’m sorry for the lack of updates lately but I have a great explanation for it. You know, I always thought that I played all the great games of the past: Diablo 2, Half-Life, Starcraft, Quake.. I found out by chance that I missed on of the greatest games ever and have been sucked in by that game for the last two weeks.

The game I’m talking about is the Frozen Throne expansion of Warcraft 3. I’m not sure why I never played it because I have the retail version lying around for years. I started playing Warcraft 3 again and remembered a lot of my old strategies and the plot and was stunned when I started the first Frozen Throne mission.

I could not remember a darn thing about the mission and when I checked the Orc bonus campaign I knew that I have never played that game before. That’s shocking for someone who thought of himself as the game that played them all.

Well I’m currently in the last campaign of the game playing with Arthas and that night elven banshee Windrunner (was that her name) so I’m close to finish it. What I really like is that I met Rexxar for the first time. I always wondered why players in World of Warcraft seemed so familiar with Rexxar while I’d never seen that guy and his bear before.

Now I know why. I also know where the Tower Defense idea came from. That’s a lot of important knowledge, don’t you think

I’m the Mekuri Master, the Skirt-Flip King. The name isn’t their idea… It’s mine. I’m a man who was born to lift skirts. You think any so-called “rules” are gonna stop me? When classes get out, I race through the corridors like a fearsome wind, flipping, flipping, flipping up girls’ skirts and letting the whole world know that I am the Mekuri Master!

Talking about exotic game concepts. How about a skirt-flipping game from Japan ? Does that sound exotic enough to you ? Mekuri Master [via tigsource] is a browser game that puts you int the roll of the Skirt-Flip King. His task is to run through the hallway and flip as many skirts as possible.

His skirt flipping technique is rated from being perfect to bad and it has direct consequences on the lift bar at the top. If the bar fills completely the skirt-flip king goes into super mode which makes it a tad easier to flip skirts. If he misses to many skirts he will loose the game and return to his job as the janitor of the school.

The graphics are really nice and do remind me a little bit of the Street Fighter games with the only difference that the game scrolls and that the levels are populated by many girls in Japanese schoolgirl uniforms.

I thought long and hard about the first post that I would make for Take 9 and finally decided to let you get a glimpse of what this website will be about, what you can expect from us and the goals that we have for the website.

Take 9 is a website about games. It will not be your usual games site though because we thought that it would be fine if we could post anything we want as long as it is gaming related. Be prepared for game reviews, videos, tons of free games, browser games, screenshots, lots of fun especially about the latest video game movies that hit the cinemas, and everything else that we can think of.

We do not care about companies, brands or video game systems. If a game is good it is good, no matter when or for which system it was released. Yes that includes weird Japanese video games that no one understands but also famous C-64 and Atari 2600 games. Everything we like will be in.

We are definitely looking for as much feedback as possible. If you have anything to say do so, let your voice be heard. Be prepared, we are on fire.
