Do you remember the game Space Taxi on the Commodore C-64 ? In it you were playing a taxi driver in space who had to pick up passengers in space and avoid all kinds of obstacles along the way. Space Capstar II reminds me of that game although you are not picking up passengers but artifacts from the soil instead.
My name is Randolph. Randolph Clark Rodriguez. They call me “The Invincible Randy” on the space convoy circuit, but you can just call me Randy.
I roam the galaxy on my trusty ship, the Capstar II, fueled by dreams, passion, adventure, and the promise of cold, hard cash. My job is hard to explain, but in a nutshell, I’m a jack-of-all-trades who takes on any request under the suns. My latest task is to collect the rare mineral called Red Krypton from Point K9. I hear, though, that the last fellow sent to Point K9 never returned… Something tells me that there’s more to this mission than they’re letting on. Nevertheless, today finds me and my faithful Capstar II headed for the four planets that make up Point K9.
After all, it’s there I may find dreams, passion, adventure… and a sweet, sweet 40,000,000 Space Credits.
I enjoyed the first Land Stand game by Con Artists tremendously. It was an exciting game that kept you motivated even after finishing it for the first time. The player was one of the last survivors of a virus outbreak that turned most humans and animals into Zombies. He had to hold out for twenty days in his location searching for other survivors and weapons at day and fighting zombies at night.
The Last Stand 2 puts you in the role of a helicopter crash survivor who has to reach Union City to get of the land before it is being sealed of by the armed forces. This is actually one of the biggest changes in the second part. You have to move the character through various locations to be able to reach Union City in time.
The controls of the game have remained the same. WASD moves the character behind the barricades, R reloads the gun and space swaps it and the Left Mouse button shoots a bullet.
Guy in fancy pants tries to catch rabbit who stole his ice cream. The fancy pants game is a jump and run with some interesting ideas, wonderful sound and stunning animations. Brad Borne, the developer of the game, created a very special game, especially if you consider that this is still an online flash game.
The player can move the character around with the arrow keys and use the S key to jump around. Up does open doors as well and down performs slides and ducks the character. While the main task is to chase the rabbit and get your ice cream back Brad added some motivating side quests into the game.
The player can grab a different pant in each level if he manages to kick a snail’s shell into a hole in the level which awards the player the pant of the level. Some sequences in the game remind me of the popular Line Rider and even Sonic games. The good old ones.
It takes some time to load the initial game but once you’re in the game it only loads between levels and that pretty fast. Fancy Pants Adventure World 2 is a wonderful game, very entertaining, beautiful and motivating.
I’m the Mekuri Master, the Skirt-Flip King. The name isn’t their idea… It’s mine. I’m a man who was born to lift skirts. You think any so-called “rules” are gonna stop me? When classes get out, I race through the corridors like a fearsome wind, flipping, flipping, flipping up girls’ skirts and letting the whole world know that I am the Mekuri Master!
Talking about exotic game concepts. How about a skirt-flipping game from Japan ? Does that sound exotic enough to you ? Mekuri Master [via tigsource] is a browser game that puts you int the roll of the Skirt-Flip King. His task is to run through the hallway and flip as many skirts as possible.
His skirt flipping technique is rated from being perfect to bad and it has direct consequences on the lift bar at the top. If the bar fills completely the skirt-flip king goes into super mode which makes it a tad easier to flip skirts. If he misses to many skirts he will loose the game and return to his job as the janitor of the school.
The graphics are really nice and do remind me a little bit of the Street Fighter games with the only difference that the game scrolls and that the levels are populated by many girls in Japanese schoolgirl uniforms.
If you have not had your daily dosis of schoolgirl panties yet head over to Nigoro to play the game.
